Project overview

The ExPO Project is a coordinated referral pathway for men with prostate cancer, undergoing ADT, to access the services of an Accredited Exercise Physiologist through a fully-funded 6-week group exercise program. All men enrolled, as part of the Project, will receive:

  • A one-on-one initial consultation with an AEP.
  • An individualised exercise prescription tailored to their specific needs and goals.
  • 6 weeks of group exercise classes, twice per week (12 classes in total).
  • A one-on-one review consultation with an AEP.

Funding for both the 6-week group exercise program has been provided from a community project grant provided by AstraZeneca.
